1、Create a Google Optimize container
Login in Google Optimize via https://optimize.google.com/optimize/home/#/accounts. Click the plus sign to create a container.
It will pop up a page on the right, the container name is the website domain name, and then created.
2、Google Optimize is associated with Google Analytics
We are now linking Google Optimize to Google Analytics，You must be the administrator account privilege of both products to be associated. Click on the third step
Select the corresponding property
3、Deploy Google Optimize
After determining the association, a page will pop up with a piece of code on it, which needs to be deployed to the page. Here we choose to deploy it through GTM.The information on the page is like this:
Next we go directly to the GTM to set up Google Optimize:
Click”Tags”——”New”——“Choose a tag type to begin set-up…”——”Google Optimize“:
Click“Advanced Settings”——”Tag Sequencing”——“Fire a tag before Basic Tracking fires”，finally choose Google Optimize，：
Save and Publish ,Google Optimize is deployed like this.
4、Create a test experiment
Next is to create an AB test,Click “Let’s Go”
Name is the name of the experiment, named 2019-Color here.
What is the URL of the page you’d like to use? This is called your editor page，fill out the page to test.

After confirmation, enter the experimental specific information settings:
After confirming, create different versions:
The default is that traffic is evenly distributed.Click Edit to make adjustments to the places where the page needs to be tested，but your chrome browser should be installed with Google Optimize，the page after opening is as follows:
This is the Google Optimize visual editing page. You can see the modified effect directly by modifying the place where you need to test. We will change the color of Adobe Launch for navigation.
Then save and exit, the Variants are set up.
Page targeting is the page you want to test before, so you don’t need to make changes here.
Audience targeting is to set which people to choose to test, such as the choice of the United States, Europe, or what pages have been visited, what equipment to use, a lot of dimensions to choose the test population. We choose all people here.
Description can write some test purposes, or arrangements.
Objectives, this is the most important, the purpose of the test, or what needs to be optimized.
Run diagnostics is to see the test code is accurate, here is not yet deployed anti-flicker snippet, this code is not necessarily deployed, if there is a blank jump page when testing later.
Finally click on the start in the upper right corner to test, then we go to test the effect of the page.
You can see the effect. If you want to see another situation, you need to clear the cookie and then re-open the page. You may see it. If not, try it a few times. After all, this is randomly assigned.
